Take a soap making class with Mom at Distant Hill Gardens!

Learn techniques to safely make natural, organic soaps at home.
Students will learn about the history of soap making, and then batch soap from scratch .
All supplies are provided, and all participants will be sent their own custom bar of soap. (approximately 3 weeks after the class once the soap has cured)

Learn how to make true bar soap!

Soaps are made with organic oils, lye, and love.

Students will learn about the history of soap making, and then batch soap from scratch with the help of Luna's Herbal Botanical Cultivations herbalist. All students will receive their own custom bar of soap ~3 weeks after the class (once the soap has cured).

Introduction to Herbal Medicine is a great class for all individuals interested in the inherent medicine that lies within plants. Students will be introduced to native plants and the medicinal properties that they have. This class will also cover the basics of tincture making. There will be a hands on activity where students learn how to make a tincture from native plant material. Herbalist will bring mother tinctures from her apothecary so every student can design there own tincture, based on there wants/needs, and take the tincture home with them!

This workshop will dive into how to make your own nourishing face oil.

Participants will make a homemade face oil for healthy skin,  and learn about the properties of the plants used to make the blend.

Everyone will take home a hand made nourishing face oil, and, their own essential oil blend to customize a face oil at home designed personally for their own needs. 

This class is co-hosted by Luna's Herbal Botanical Cultivations and Jeni Calllihan Esthetics Yoga and Essential Oils.
